As for cars, if you are going to get serious about this then I'd pick up something that will help you learn better. Such as a spec miata or boxter. Both are amazing track toys and easily repairable. I'm sure a 240 would be as well if you just had to have something in the Nissan family. Also if you should ever want to get out of it, since they are class type vehicles you wouldn't have a problem selling either. Now if you got real serious in the GTR, I'm sure there isn't a huge market for a GTR that has holes drilled in it and stuff welded on the inside that someone would want to buy. I am at the track 2-3 times a month and have been doing so for a little over a year now.
